SRDI Federal Funding Analysis Databases
Greater economic and racial equity requires knowledge and understanding of a community’s assets, particularly its federal funding. Our Federal Funding Databases show the amount, type, and use of federal funds in your community, the rural South, and the US.

SRDI guides rural leaders to better align their community’s federal funding with its needs. When used with SRDI policy consultations and community convenings, the databases highlight the policy implications of these flows to local areas.

Local-Regional Database
Most useful for rural leaders, this version of the Federal Funds Database shows federal funding by federal agency, type of funds, and intended function. This custom query can also “filter-report” by different county classifications; for example, counties by poverty rates, metro/nonmetro status, or degree of ruralness.
National Trends Database
Most useful for public policy analysts, this version of the Federal Funds Database
offers county summaries of key programs and funding patterns of the United States Department of Agriculture. This tool helps rural leaders see the USDA funding patterns for agriculture, rural development and nutrition missions for their county. This version is the result of a partnership with the Rural Policy Research Institute (RUPRI).
